The flying chef arrived with a cart of canapés on our flight. We chose from a variety of smoked salmon, hummus tabbouleh, marinated seafood salad, and pumpkin soup. Everything was delicious and you could get as much or as little as you wanted (I had two bowls of soup!). Red snapper filet, rigatoni with parmesan tomato sauce, or rosemary-grilled chicken breast were our meal options. Both the fish and the chicken we had were superb; Kaan chose the snapper. The staff is extremely lovely when they bring out an electric candle for the atmosphere during dinner service.
We had a large selection of Turkish pastries, cheesecakes, and souffle for dessert, and the trolley returned just in time for dessert. Turkish Airlines provides dine-on-demand during the flight, continuing the country’s tradition of welcoming guests beyond the lunch service. This implies that you can request extra food at any time throughout the journey if you are hungry, such as cheese plates, mezes, or sandwiches.
On board, there was a variety of Turkish and foreign wine and beer, as well as Tattinger champagne (which Kaan and I LOVEE and the staff kept replenishing). You won’t soon forget your time dining in business class on Turkish Airlines; all you have to do is sit back, sip your champagne, and take it all in.
