We’ve always wanted to go to Antarctica. We had initially intended to go for our honeymoon, but because to the covid pandemic and day-to-day circumstances, it was never feasible. It would have been our sixth continent, so we were quite curious to see if it lived up to the hype. And let us reassure you that it was unquestionably the biggest experience of our lives!
The 10-day trip to Antarctica with Albatros Expeditions from Ushuaia, Argentina, should be on everyone’s bucket list. It’s uncommon for anybody to have the opportunity to visit the remote, uninhabited continent of Antarctica, and getting there isn’t always simple—it depends on whether you take the Drake Lake or Shake. But once you’re on the other side, it’s all so worthwhile! No other place on earth offers such breathtaking landscape, incredible wildlife (hello, penguins! ), and a sense of remoteness we have never experienced. It was a big blessing that our wonderful friends Florina and Adrian could join us; it made the event much more delightful.
