Edwin Castro, the $2B Powerball winner, spends his most recent opulent prize on a new $47M house in Los Angeles

Edwin Castro still hasn’t finished splurging on opulent real estate after winning the $2 billion Powerball prize in February.

Since becoming wealthy this past winter, the lucky lottery winner has already invested in at least two other California houses. Now, he has splurged once again, spending $47 million on a property in Bel Air.

According to the Daily Mail, Castro’s newest residence boasts seven bedrooms, eleven bathrooms, and an infinity pool with sweeping views of Los Angeles.

The 31-year-old’s newest residence also features a cinema, a wine cellar, a champagne tasting area, a suspended glass promenade, and DJ turntables.

The bedrooms include sitting spaces and walk-in closets, and the foyer has a sizable koi pond.

Not far distant are Castro’s other residences.

After receiving his one-time lump sum payout of $997.6 million, he spent a cool $25.5 million on his first residence, which is in the Hollywood Hills and has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms spread over 13,500 square feet.

The Post claimed in March that it also boasts two firepits, an infinity pool, a wine cellar, a movie theater, a double-height stairway, a fitness center, and a spa.

Later the same month, The Post revealed that the Californian had acquired a second property, this one in Altadena, close to where he had purchased the life-altering Powerball ticket.

The second home, constructed in 1953, has a living room with a fireplace, an art studio, a pond, and unhindered views of the San Gabriel Mountains.

Castro has now spent a total of $76 million on real estate across the three residences, not including additional opulent purchases like the $250,000 vintage Porsche he was observed driving around town in back in April.
